Antonio and Marieda Boschi Di Stefano collected about 2000 pieces of art in their lifetime and circa 300 of them can be admired at the Boschi DiStefano Museum.
The museum is located in the first floor of an apartment building from the 30 ies and can easily be reached by public transport. Friendly volunteers greet you at the door and point you in the right direction, the paintings are hung in chronological order. The art collection is impressive enough and you will recognize a lot of big names (there is a whole room stuffed with Fontanas!) but make sure you also check out all of the wonderful furniture, sculptures and chandeliers. There is even a violin collection on display and all of this goodness can be enjoyed for free! I love this place!
