Delicious north Indian food. You will receive a starter on a small spoon on the house. :) The lentil soup is spicy and delicious and if you ask, you can get your dish more spicy. :) The owner is Mr. Anil Gupta, a very nice man, married to an Austrian woman. When he has time, he's up to a chat with the guests. I'd recommend on a reservation, especially in the evenings. Sundays and Holidays closed!

Outstanding curry house serving north Indian cuisine. They will serve your curry UK-spicy if you ask, though you might have to assure them you are not Austrian ;). The lamb dishes are particularly good.

It can be hard to get a table and the quality declines a bit when they are busy, but still one of the best curries to be had in Vienna.

Wonderful, tastefully decorated, impeccably run Indian restaurant with a focus on Northern Indian cuisine. The starters are wonderful little bursts of flavour, the main courses are all perfectly seasoned and yummy throughout. Go there, they deserve all the business they can get! There's a 1,20.- cover charge, but that gets you Papadums, a couple sauces and also a taster of battered and fried vegetable, so it's more than worth it.

Indian restaurant with medium-price ranged food which is very good. Ahem, delicious, actually. I had Samosa (good!), flatbread (great!), curry chicken with vegetables (wow!) and saffron-rice (mhmm, includes almonds and raisins!) accompanied by a guava-juice. The place itself is rather small and from outside you see that it is definitely a former "Beisl", but inside everything is clean. The prices for some things are a bit high though.
