Very large cinema complex located in the Millenium City, just next to the U-Bahn stop. Also in the center are a range of eateries and restaurants so you can grab a meal before the movie, or even after - Japanese, steak, Italian etc What is interesting about this complex is it really is a cinema COMPLEX. It provides a huge variety of show options - probably at least 20 - so in that way, it is very nice. You can also get your shopping done downstairs at Merkur while you're at it.

My favourite shopping center in Vienna, not least due to the food court. The food may not be the best, but it's the perfect place to hang out and indulge in excessive people watching.
Special insider tip: Coffee at the Coffeeshop Company at one of the three tables facing the seating area of the food court. You can watch all the people go by, and it's like theatre, only less staged (but with all the drama).

Huge Megaplex. Because it has 21 screens, there are sometimes slots for not-so-mainstream movies

not to forget the cinema. mostly mainstream, but sometimes nice independent stuff.
