  the interior of this koffiehuis is sooo pretty & so are their cakes. if felt like in trashy kitsch wonderland. really, it's the most kitschiest bakery i've ever seen!
  if you are into stuff like that, don't miss it!

    Admittedly kitsch but also read random! From the outside of this bakery, you get the impression that this is an idea that is well thought through...do not be fooled! The service is seriously bad - even on Dutch standards. The girls serving were smiley but i guess you have to be when you wait nearly an hour to get a coffee and an average slice of cake for 10 euros. Feels like you are in a student union with a girly fake edge to it which is fine but only if the prices reflect that...with so many other gorgeous places around Amsterdam to eat cake and drink tea or coffee - I am not sure I would make the effort to go back here..unless I needed to fill some time and day glow fake flowers were missing in my world!
