Good coffee or chai latte, relaxed atmosphere. Just a nice place to hang out with a friend or alone and get some work done.

the hopper (as i like to call it) - also known as the location of the tupalo rotterdam launch - is AWESOME!
great coffee, great sandwiches - my favorite is probably the one with hummus, ruccola and tomato. soooo good.
the interior is modern, yet cosy and the staff is superfriendly.
great to hang out, read newspapers, browse the internet (there's free wifi!), chill, chat etc.
when in rotterdam, make sure you drop by! :)

    • The Hopper, in your best Rotterdam accent. After which you go dancing at The Rotown, and get your frikandel at The Febo. :)

Incredible cafe, with just the right amount of Rotterdam charm, mixed with San Francisco hipness.

The interior, though not entirely warm and inviting is beyond functional, with a centrally locater water spout for all you can drink water refills, located close to both the coffee bar and sandwich bar.

Staff are incredibly friendly, fast and we're very quick to let me know that they have soy milk without giving me a strange look.

Their coffee is pulled by some of the best, nice, creamy with a healthy foam and definitely a smooth flavor. Whatever beans I had I loved and hope they keep them in stock!

Then came my sandwich, which was veganized for me. Incredible, thick slices of freshly-baked bread, artisan style, with a soft, crispy crust around the edges. Covered in a smooth, tahini-packed hummus, fresh lettuce, tomatoes and a nice blend of salt, pepper and olive oil . If I weren't already on a train back to Amsterdam I would have immediately dropped back in for a second.
