Schöne Bar, Schlechte Bedienung. Kannten nicht einmal "Monkey 47" ... :)

Actually a very nice bar. Relaxed, classy and modern ambience, good drinks. I particularly like to come here after work to relax and unwind. The dimmed lighting and prompt service adds to the mix. I recommend you be creative with your choice of cocktails and drinks, and also wash it down with some petitish snacks/delicacies. I personally like to have the salmon & spinage pastries, or you can try the mini pizzas. It won't fill you up but it makes a nice touch. My partner also likes to come here so we sometimes spend time here on the weekend as well. Overall, a good bar in Vienna.

Don't be put off by the bad website, or this paragraph:
"Als Szenetreff für die anspruchsvollen Barbesucher Wiens, hat sich die Kruger´s American Bar ab 18 Uhr als Geheimtipp für Manager und Geschäftsleute entwickelt, die bei einem Cocktail, Whiskey oder auch einer feinen Zigarre mit Ihren Geschäftsfreunden zu angenehmer Musik den Geschäftstag ausklingen lassen wollen."
(Although it should give you an indication of their usual clientele.) This is a great cocktail bar in the more traditional style (a la Planter's Club, but unlike, say, Schultz). Good cocktails, nice decor, you can sit outside in summer and watch goth kids walk by. What more do you want?

Hallo, danke für das offene Feedback - dringend Zeit für eine Service-Schulung sobald alle Mitarbeiter aus dem Urlaub retour sind. Es gibt drei neue Kräfte mit im Team die noch recht jung und noch nicht perfekt ausgebildet sind. Es tut uns leid, dass Sie nicht das gewohnt gute Service erfahren haben, wir bemühen uns das Niveau rasch anzugleichen. Monkey47 zu kennen ist ein Muss, zumal wir das Produkt wirklich schon seit seinen ersten Anfängen führen und besonders gerne empfehlen. LG!
