  My absolute favorite Christmas Market in Vienna. Beautiful, original and talented art/craftwork is on display here as well as the regular punsch stands, pretzels and other nibblies and snacks. It has a very beautiful ambience around the Schloss Schonbrunn castle and has a chorus/entertainment schedule aroundd the Christmas period. It has a much more authentic feel than the Christmas markets at other popular locations around the city, in my opinion. And does not suffer from the "kitsch-tourist"impact of others. In any case, I definitely recommend a visit to the Schloß Schönbrunn Weihnachtsmarkt during the Festive Season period for tourists and residents alike.
