Not a typical restaurant, but rather a mixture of art gallery, home kitchen and seminar room. The food is spectacular, all organic ingredients and the multi-course menus are superbly conceived and artfully presented.

When the m77 was pointed out to me my curiosity was immediately awakened. A place where I can learn about food, cooking and processes as well as enjoy a deliciously prepared meal in a friendly environment, even though I am sharing the table with strangers. Margot Glaszer-Seitschek, the owner, creative mind and cook of this venue tries to come up with creative meals which she prepares herself. All the ingredients are handpicked and hand-prepared. When I attended her Wald-&Wiesen-dinner (which was combined with a seminar on olive oil), which consisted of 5 courses, I was surprised and amazed that short ribs was one of the courses. My foodie-partner made sure that I was aware of the fact that short ribs are impossible to find in Vienna, yet Margot managed to not only serve but also to find amazing short ribs. How? By telling the butcher precisely where and how to cut.

Make sure to check out her "Spielplan" (=playing schedule) and make a reservation.
