This is one of those 'OMG' places, where everytime you bite something new you're like, 'OMG! This is great!'
Sadly, I've only been there once, for brunch. But it was a *great* brunch. Fantastic spinach strudel, delicious Eierschwammerl gulasch and a lot of other yummy things, cold and warm.
My caffè latte was very nice, too. And so was my crepe - it was awesome!! I didn't manage to try any cakes because I was terribly full, but they looked great.
Service is super friendly and the quality of the ingredients they use is *very* high.
It's not cheap but they cook so well, I gladly pay for getting great food! And anyway it's still acceptable. I wouldn't describe it as an expensive place.
And I like the interior - oh well... I like the way the courtyard and the patio part of it looks. It's so colourful and eccentric!I want to go back!!! And I want to try having a regular meal there. I'm sure I'll love it as much as the brunch. Nom nom nom.

Great food, friendly staff and a nice little courtyard.
In just a few short weeks this has become one of my favorite restaurants in Vienna. There are two daily lunch menus, one for 6.20 and one for 6.90 which are usually great value for money. Definitely my favorite lunch spot around the office.

If their brunch were a person I'd try to marry her.

seasonal, high-quality food.
changing menues / especially recommended during the summer months (lovely patio) -
I'm always amazed at how many places I still don't know in Vienna, even after living her for the better part of ten years.
One of those is Mill. It's located somewhat off the beaten path near Mariahilfestraße, which may be a reason why I've never heard of it before.
The outside looks innocuous enough, but one's surprised by a charming little courtyard that's extended into a roofed area that's equipped with massive tables and quite idiosyncratic interior design.
I haven't had any of the food, but the menu looks somewhere south of traditional Viennese, the waiters and waitresses are very friendly and once the courtyard needs to be cleared (round 9:45pm), the inside is just as charming.
Overall Mill's a nice surprise and it's definitely a place to dazzle non-Viennese with Vienna's gastronomical diversity.

Nice little place with indoor yard, brunch (buffet) on Sundays, little market with punch wine in the winter, and friendly staff. Closed on most Saturdays.
