If you're at all interested in fashion, this is an obligatory stop; after all, the city's home to the legendary Antwerp Six (ok, 7 if you count Margiela). At the time of writing (July 2009), there upper floor is hosting an exhibit on the history of black, featuring exquisite pieces by Riccardo Tisci, Rei Kawabuko, Yohji Yamamato (and of course) Anne Demeulemeester and Oliver Theyskens, to name a few. On the ground floor, you can check out Mariel Manuel's fantastical and dream-like designs, reminiscent of Tsumori Chisato. And after all of that, you can pop over to Copyright bookshop right next door...
