I had a wonderful memory of this restaurant dating back from 2002, when I was young and naive maybe. I returned for my birthday and it was a huge disappointment.
Where to start? Crappy furniture in an old and tasteless decoration that dates from 15 years ago, no atmosphere at all, all you hear is the chef's latin radio in the kitchen. Water and wine glasses were dirty, as well as the water jar. The waiter was nice but nothing more, he didn't bother serving the drinks, even though we were the only clients. Apetizers were okay, nothing fancy. Course meals: the ris de veau was nice, but that's it. The flank steak and the magret de canard were stiff, salmon was too cooked and every meal was accompanied by unappetizing boiled brocoli and a carrot. The deserts were awful, except maybe for the creme brulee. Oh, and there was no soap in the washroom. It's no surprise the owner (whom I heard bought the place only a year ago) don't allow comments on other restaurant review Web sites.
