    I love this place. Always friendly. I have always been happy with the hair cut and colour I received. Alissa really seems to know what she is doing and takes the time to educate me on how to keep it looking good. The price was great for what I got. I will return, for sure. Thank you hairsprung!

    The service was rude and the hair stylist may have been a bit intoxicated while cutting my hair. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

    I used to go to this salon about two years ago but the customer service and the quality of the haircut where not as good as thought they should of been. Everyone recommended me to this place about two years ago and I felt let down. I decided to go back (two years later) to see if anything had changed. Once again, nothing had changed, it had actually became worst. The customer service was a little rude, the place was dirty with hair all over the floor and on the chair that they asked you to sit on. There was coffee mugs and water glasses left all over the place and the girl at the front desk was sitting on the phone chatting and fiddling with her phone. Do not get me started on the hair cut, I believe it was way too over priced for the service i had received. Way to much hair was taken off when i was promised only two inches, it looks like 5 or 6 inches where chopped off.
    I hate making this review because it is not like me to do, however i think its time that other people know before they spend their money.

    She finally decided, after arguing over the phone that she would try to put more highlights but cannot do much more.Because of previous comments over the phone- even though i apologized if she felt any were rude but she did not apologize for her rude comments- I got the phone call to my cell phone approximately a day before my appointment that it was cancelled and the lady hung up on me.
    Very rude. I have never been treated like this ever by an employee of a store never mind how i was treated by owner.

    When going in the salon it looked very professional and the stylist (Alyssa) sounded very knowledgeable about what she was going to do. I walked out thinking the exact opposite. I was told on the phone that a full set of highlights would be 95 dollars, and a half set of highlights 75. When i left, i was asked to pay 150.00 and i questioned, the stylist explaining the price because of extra dye (when i do not see where extra dye was used). The next day i called back telling her it wasn't how i would of liked it to be, i walked out with more of the brown hair color that i went in with and only some blonde.
    Horrible customer service on the phone- she continued to argue and say that she happy with what she did, when it doesn't matter if the stylist are happy, it matters how the customers feel. She told me i was putting words in her mouth and at one point told me it would be best that i do not come back into the salon- when i wasn't yelling or swearing or being rude- i was simply explaining how i felt about the job.
    The prices are overly expensive for the work that was done. I have been to other places which didn't do everything i wanted but did in fact do a lot more than this stylist did for a cheaper price. I paid 150 for hardly any highlights of a lighter blonde when i paid 100 for highlights (my hair was more blond than brown), cut, blow dried, styled and nice customer service.
    When mentioning this to her she replied "Well, Georgetown salons don't have the rent and hydro that i have to pay, It is cheaper there." So is it the extra dye I am paying for, or is it because of her high rent? the price should of been explained from the start and i don't know how many times i was told, "if you don't like it go somewhere else"
    I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone, nor will i ever put anymore of my money into "helping her pay her rent, instead walking out with my hair done properly."

    This is Alissa Fletcher, the owner and head stylist at Hair Sprung. I like to keep up to date with my salon's reviews and I was very distressed to come across yours.

    Sarah does not work at Hair Sprung any more and I am very sorry to hear you had such a negative experience with her. I am not sure if she advertised herself as a curly hair specialist, but I can guarantee you that I am.

    I'm not sure about the other stylist, but whatever you do, DO NOT make an appointment with Sarah. she does NOT know what she's doing and screwed up my hair, overcharged and made a big event really crappy because of it. Curly hair is most definietly not her specialty. G'luck

    This salon is great! The staff is very welcoming, friendly, young, modern, and knowledgable. The atmposphere is very laid back and comfortable. I got a great cut by owner Alissa and my boyfriend got an awesome cut by the other stylist Sarah. The prices for the quality work can't be beat, and they specialize in curly hair!
