The place to go for everybody who likes schnitzel and numerous variations of cordon bleu. Besides the food, which is solid and good, the setting of Villa Aurora is somewhat special: set on the Wilhelminenberg in summer it's a great place to go to get some fresh air in a relaxed atmosphere in the city, in winter, just like a couple of days ago it's just a romantic winterdream, sitting by the fire, having a great view over the city and enjoying the garden with it's old trees and the architecture of the gründerzeit building of the restaurant itself. It's a bit pricey and they have to work on the dishes besides cordon bleu and schnitzel, but the atmosphere is worth it.

traditional viennese food and atmosphere plus a wonderful view over vienna! a little more expensive but worth it.
most definitively the right place for people who love cordon bleu!

Villa Aurora, sister-restaurant to Schloss Concordia near the central cemetery, does indeed provide for a great view over Vienna.

For a carnivore like me, the menu provides enough variation. Especially the various "Cordons" are interesting and tasty.
