Enjoyed eating at this petitish Indian restaurant. The ambience was not extraordinary, but the food was decent and we enjoyed the meal overall. I particularly liked the tandoori chicken.

Nice restaurant, great authentic food (had a grilled chicken in a butter sauce, really yummy). The portions are really big : no need to go for appetizers or desserts. The service is friendly and not too insisting. The mango lassi tasted really good as well. Was not really full, but was there on a Sunday for lunch. Would definitely recommend.

mogulhof is probably the best indian restaurant in vienna - not cheap but worth every cent you spend.

have eaten here once with a friend. nice ambiente, very friendly service, very tasty dishes! i'm not so much into indian food to decide whether it was "original" or not, though.
    expensive prices, but big portions.

Went there last Monday with friends. The food was good and served quite quickly. I ordered my main dish "extra spicy", but felt that it wasn't really spicy. But then I'm used to eating extremely spicy. ;-) The only thing is that the restaurant is really expensive. 6€ for 0.5l of Mango Lassi is pretty expensive and the soups start at 4€ (small portion). If you know how Indian food is prepared you wonder why it is that expensive. A thali (platter with different curries) starts at 16€ (didn't order it, though) and the main courses start somewhere at 13€. The portions are quite big, though. I couldn't finish my main course and took the rest home to eat the next day. The waitress could have been friendlier. She seemed quite impatient when one of my friends couldn't decide on what to eat and we asked her to wait for his order.

apart from forgetting to process my order, I had a very good time & delicious indian cuisine there (and received a complimentary side order because of the delay).

i am not the biggest fan of the indian cuisine (maybe because i am a big wimp when it comes to spicy food)but i am always down with grabbing dinner at the 'hof. my favourite is the alu palak and their naan bread.
fun pictures on the wall and friendly staff.
the restaurant is a little on the pricey side but their portions are generous.

Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Vienna, located on the infamous "Indian Mile" or so I've heard Burggasse referred as. Good amount of veggie/vegan options and every meal is extremely high quality. The price reflects this, so prepare to spend a bit more for your curry than usual, but, it's well worth it.
