I came here based on a recommendation from a pal, and was not disappointed. Good quality Japanese and relaxed, friendly service. I recommend you try this if you are looking for good Japanese places in Vienna.

The food was good. Better than decent but not great. Everything was slightly on the salty side which is surprising for Japanese food. With that said, it's probably one of the better places to have Japanese food in Vienna. Lived in Japan and from Toronto and I've been to much better. The toro sushi was surprisingly good but the sauted scallops were quite mediocre and salty.

This place was great! It was the best sushi ever, with the best fish quality I ever tasted, in Vienna, and also in Milan (where I'm from), to be honest.

The fish is just fresh and great and beautiful to look at while the cook cuts it to prepare your sushi. The tuna is very good, which is a good sign. A big sushi set is 15€, which I think is fair for such good quality, and if you're still hungry you can have avocado makis for an affordable price.

Service is quick and friendly, I think everybody was Japanese and so were the guests when I went. Another good sign. Go there if you want good sushi!

Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants in Vienna...

if not the best. The Yakitori were tender and nicely seasoned, the Yakiudon were perfect and the Maguro Toubanjan (Tuna sashimi with a Sichuan style red bean paste) was one of the best things I ate lately. My girlfriend's mixed Sushi set and avocado maki also looked fantastic and apparently also tasted that way.

45 Euro for two people (including tips) definitely is not too much for the quality of the food on offer. Maybe I should also mention that the place was full of Japanese people (staff and patrons), which doesn't happen in many other Sushi bars in Vienna...
